EMSX 2250 - *EMTB/A Field Internship


This field internship course is designed to allow the student to meet all psychomotor and effective objectives for the clinical requirements of the Accelerated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program. The internship may occur in emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, hospital emergency rooms, and psychiatric facilities. ((This course was previously EMSA 2250.)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring
Prerequisites: Admission to AAEMT program
Corequisites: EMSX 1150 , EMSX 1250 , EMSX 1260 , EMSX 1350 , EMSX 2260 , and EMSX 2650  
Contact Hours: 90 internship hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate-level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
