EMSX 1150 - *Basic EMTB/A Clinical


This clinical course is designed to allow the student to meet psychomotor and effective outcomes as part of their clinical requirements.  Students will build upon the concepts and knowledge learned during the AAEMT program at emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, hospital emergency rooms, and psychiatric facilities. (This course was previously EMSA 1150.)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring
Prerequisites: Admission to the AAEMT program
Corequisites: EMSX 1250 , EMSX 1260 , EMSX 1350 , EMSX 2250 , EMSX 2260 , and EMSX 2650  
Contact Hours: 96 clinical hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate-level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
