EMSX 1260 - *Basic EMTB/A Skills Lab

This laboratory course emphasizes skills taught through the EMTB portion of the course. It will include the application of principles and processes discussed in EMT Medical Emergencies. Emphasis will be placed on treating patients with various medical concerns and traumas. (This course was previously EMSA 1260.)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring
Prerequisites: Admission to the AAEMT program
Corequisites: EMSX 1150, EMSX 1250, EMSX 1350, EMSX 2250, EMSX 2260, and EMSX 2650
Contact Hours: 60 lab hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate-level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
