Semester Credits: Each course description reflects the number of semester credits that will be earned upon successful completion of the course. Contact Hours/Type: This reflects the number of hours per semester spent in class and the type of contact hour - lecture, lab, etc. General Education Designation: Courses denoted with the ^ symbol in the title are General Education courses and are transferable within the Tennessee Board of Regents system. Career and Vocational Designation: Courses denoted with the * symbol in the title focus on specific career skills. These courses may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
