PSCI 200P* - Science Practicum

Students will study methods for effective tutoring in science with practical experience in the Math and Science Laboratory, Open Review Lab, Peer Tutoring and/or Study Group Mentoring. Students will enhance their own scientific understanding and insight in a given discipline as a result of communicating what has been previously mastered.

PREREQUISITES: Completion of the sequence in which the student will tutor and completer status. Student must be recommended.
Hours: Five laboratory hours per week. Not intended for transfer.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
