LAW 100* - Introduction to Ethics and Evidence


This course presents introductory information on the two cornerstones of the legal profession. The ethics component involves the study of the standards of conduct and the ethical obligations of paralegal personnel through a review of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct. The Evidence component involves an elaboration on the Federal Rules of Evidence and a discussion of the practical application of these rules.

PREREQUISITES: Completion of DSPR 0800 and DSPW 0800 or acceptable placement score.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
