CIS 213* - Advanced Web Application Programming with ASP. NET

This is the second course of a two-course sequence using Visual Basic.NET. Major topics include: Multi-Page web apps using ASP.NET, databases and cookies, server and validation controls, state management, web services, relational databases and ADO.NET, and securing web applications. Requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional and Visual Basic.NET.

PREREQUISITES: CIS 113* with a grade of “C” or better or permission of the instructor.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
