CIS 190* - Computer User Support An introduction to the support functions of computers. Topics to be covered include: help desk support, training, system monitoring, configuration control, and documentation. Students will learn the procedures for supporting microcomputers in a hands-on environment.
PREREQUISITES: CIS 100 and CIS 160. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
