PTA 270* - Therapeutic Applications V


Continuation of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation techniques for patients with neurological dysfunctions and advanced theory of electrical modalities. Application of techniques and procedures to patients with burns, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and multi-handicapping conditions. Special areas of practice.

PREREQUISITES: PTA 222*, PTA 263*, PTA 264*, and PTA 242C*.
Hours: Thirty lecture and sixty laboratory hours per semester.
Repeated: May be repeated for a maximum of six semester hours of credit to apply toward graduation requirements.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
