PTA 210* - Fundamentals of PTA


A study of ethics, patients’ rights, and licensure as it applies to the Physical Therapy profession. Other topics covered will include: history, role and scope of the profession, as well as proper documentation and charting techniques.

PREREQUISITES: PTA 110* and acceptance into the PTA Program.
Hours: Fifteen lecture hours per semester.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
