RESP 1420 - *Fundamentals of Respiratory Care II

This course is a continuation of Fundamentals of Respiratory Care I. Topics covered in this course include basic respiratory care modalities such as hyperinflation and airway clearance therapies and suctioning.

Prerequisites: BIOL 2020, RESP 1410, RESP 1430, RESP 2440
Corequisites: RESP 1310, RESP 1399, RESP 2445
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
