GEOL 1050 - ^Historical Geology This is a course dealing with the history of the earth and the organisms which inhabit it. The major geological events of the past will be studied, stressing the methods and procedures of their discovery and interpretation. The major plant and animal fossil groups will be emphasized in the laboratory and on local field trips.
