BIOL 1020 - ^Diversity of Life This course is a continuation of Introduction to Biology with emphasis on tissues, morphology, and evolutionary relationships. Unifying and comparative features will be stressed. Attention will be given to ecology and environmental issues.
Credit in only one of the following courses can be used toward graduation or general education requirements: BIOL 1020, BIOL 1030 , BIOL 1120 .
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 as determined by placement. Corequisites: BIOL 1020 Laboratory Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
