HMGT 1030 - *Introduction to Hospitality Management

This course provides an orientation to the hospitality industry. This includes an introduction to the structure of lodging, food service, and tourism organizations. It also considers the role of lodging departments, the future of the hospitality industry, and career opportunities within the field.

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
