ENGL 2055 - ^African American Literature This course includes reading representative and significant works by African-American writers. Poems, stories, novels, memoirs, and songs are examined for their insight into African-American life and thought as well as themes and experiences common to human existence. Cultural and creative expression is analyzed within its social and historical contexts. (Same as TN eCampus ENGL 2530)
