PSG 101 - *Anatomy and Physiology of Sleep Disorders This course includes a study of the Anatomy and Physiology that is specific to sleep disorders medicine. The areas to be covered will include; structure of the nervous system, macro-and micro-anatomy including the upper and lower airway, the respiratory and cardiac system, circadian rhythm biology, sleep architecture and the physiology of REM.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Spring Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
