CITC 2326 - *Network Security


This course is designed to give students a fundamental understanding of computer and network security. It will introduce students to a wide variety of concepts related to computer security. This course will cover the objectives for the CompTIA Security+ Certification. [This course was previously INFS 261.]  

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Spring
Prerequisites: CITC 1302   or CITC 1323  
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester

Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
