HED 220 - Principles of Nutrition This course includes the study of nutritional needs throughout the life cycle and dealing with how people eat and why they eat as they do. The course deals with the nutritive values and functions of food in the body. (Same as TN eCampus BIOL 1430)
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 as determined by placement. Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
