Medical Informatics - A.A.S.

The Medical Informatics program is a two-year program for students planning to enter the information technology field in healthcare. Students pursuing careers as an implementation support specialist, practice workflow and implementation redesign specialist, clinician consultant, and technical and software support staff trainer should consider this degree. There are two concentrations within this program from which to choose from: 

Option One - Medical Informatics Developer

Option Two - Medical Informatics Technician

All students graduating with a degree from VSCC are required to take the Educational Testing Service Proficiency Profile (ETSP). More information can be found at http://www.volstate.edu/Testing/Services.php.
