Pre-Nursing - A.S. [Union Partnership - Adult Studies]

The Associate of Science (Pre Nursing-Union Partnership-Adult Studies) is a two-year program for students 24 or older that leads to continued study toward the bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Union University.  Partnership graduates earn the A.S. degree from VSCC and the B.S.N from Union University.   Union University Admissions Staff are on campus annually to provide information about the partnership, expectations, and the application process. 1 Must be current (within five years) of beginning nursing.

2 Union University does not recognize VSCC’s Computer Competency Exam (CCE).

3 CHEM strongly recommended to support Pharmacology courses at Union.

4 CHR 111 (Old Testament Survey) and CHR 112 (New Testament Survey) are required prior to admission to the Union University Adult Studies Nursing Program.  These courses may be transferred back to VSCC as College Electives to complete the A.S. degree. Credits: (6)
