Elementary Education - A.S.

The Elementary Education program emphasis is a two-year program for students planning to complete a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  This degree does not qualify for a seamless transfer to colleges in the TBR system as the Associate of Science in Teaching Degree does. Students who graduate with the Associate of Science degree in Elementary Education should contact the university they plan to complete their education bachelor’s degree to determine any other requirements for entry into their teaching program. Students pursuing careers in teaching should consider this degree.

The University Parallel Degree program is designed for transfer to universities offering a Baccalaureate degree.  Contact your advisor for additional information.
