MATH 1410 - Number Concepts for Teachers

This is a course required exclusively of students majoring in elementary education.  Topics include sequences, sets, relations and functions; base-ten arithmetic, numeration systems and whole numbers; bases other than ten; operations with the integers; equations and inequalities; theory of numbers; operations with decimals and rational numbers.  (Equivalent to TN eCampus MATH 1410)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer (TN eCampus Only)
Prerequisites: College level placement  in Math or successful completion of a college level Math course. 
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
