EMPR 2273 - *Live Sound Recording and Reinforcement This course provides instruction in live sound recording and reinforcement including further development of audio principles introduced in EMPR 1270 and EMPR 1271 as applied to live sound. It includes instruction on load-in, setup, test, trouble-shoot, operate, tear-down, and load-out of state-of-the-art Live Sound Reinforcement system. It also includes applied training by supporting the Visual and Performing Arts, the Music, Theatre, and Audio Visual departments. (This course was previously COMM 273.)

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
