RADT 2380 - *Radiographic Practicum V This course is a continuation of Radiographic Practicum IV and is designed for students to participate in radiographic examinations under approved supervision in the clinical setting. Experience in a variety of procedures will assist students in applying theory and developing specified levels of competence. Students will demonstrate advanced use of radiographic equipment, along with the display of professional-level skills in positioning, patient care, interpersonal communications, image analysis, and radiation safety practices. Advanced improvement of critical thinking and problem-solving skills for non-routine situations will be exhibited along with exposure to special exams. Competence at this advanced level will be evaluated and documented for a selected category of exams.

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
