EDUC 2000 - Introduction to Education This course is a short survey of the field of education. The history of American education, present educational philosophies, major problems, present practices, and the school as a social institution are considered. Field experience in the public schools and community service are required. (Same as TN eCampus EDU 201) (This course was previously EDU 101)
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 as determined by placement.
