MATH 0105 - Skills for Algebra Essentials This co-requisite course provides skills to support and prepare for college-level mathematics. Topics include real number sense and operations, operations with algebraic expressions (including polynomials), analyzing graphs of linear equations and inequalities, solving linear equations and inequalities, (including systems of equations), modeling and critical thinking.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer Prerequisites: ACT Math subscore of 13-18, Accuplacer Elementary Algebra score of 28-91, Accuplacer Next Gen QRAS score of 210-249, or equivalent, or department approval Corequisites: MATH 1010 or MATH 1530 (or MATH 1005 with permission of the Math Department) Contact Hours: 45 lecture/lab hours per semester
