PHYS 1030 - ^Survey of Physics This is an introductory study of selected topics in physics including mechanics of linear and curvilinear motion, energy gravitation, vibrations and waves, sound electricity, magnetism and some atomic and nuclear physics. Note the preceding introductory discussion concerning course credits. Credit in only one of the following courses can be used toward graduation or general education requirements: PHYS 1030, 2010, 2110. (Same as TN eCampus PHYS 1030)
Semester Availabilty: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing and an ACT MATH subscore of 19 (or equivalent) or completion (with a grade of C or higher) of MATH 1005 , MATH 1130 , MATH 1710 or a higher course. Corequisites: PHYS 1030 Laboratory
