BIOL 2999 - *Research Practicum This is the capstone course for the Associate in Science in Research program of study. Students will research and develop a major project that integrates the concepts and knowledge from prior courses. Students will complete a personal portfolio, make presentations, and demonstrate their overall understanding of program competencies.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1110 with a grade of C or higher and permission of the instructor. Contact Hours: One lecture hour and an average of nine research hours per week Vocational/Career Program Designation: Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
