EETH 2330 - *Power Distribution This course in electrical power distribution systems that focuses on the design of electrical distribution systems for utilities, industrial plants, commercial buildings, and automated control systems. Topics include services, transformers, substations, switchboards, distribution circuit components, faults, power factor, control panel wiring, and troubleshooting.
Prerequisites: EETH 1110 Corequisites: EETH 2330L
Contact Hours: Two lecture hours per week Laboratory Hours: Two laboratory hours per week Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
