VSCC 1000 - College Success

This is an elective college level transfer course designed to promote student success. The course includes an orientation to the campus facilities and resources. Topics/modules covered include learning styles, problem solving/decision making/critical thinking skills, goal-setting, time and stress management, note and test taking, and educational planning and career research.

Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading or concurrent enrollment in READ 0810.
