SOCI 1010 - ♦Introduction to Sociology

This course is an introduction to sociology as a science and to basic sociological concepts, social structure, and social institutions, including the family and education.  [This course was previously SOC 101.]  (Same asTN eCampus SOC 1010)

Prerequisites: Acceptable placements scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing

 
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
