PTA 263 - *Therapeutic Applications II This course includes assessment techniques, superficial heat and cold modalities, hydrotherapy, introduction to use of electrical currents, basic therapeutic exercise techniques. Students will apply techniques and procedures to the treatment of patients with orthopedic and soft tissue injuries and other medical conditions.

Prerequisites: PTA 210 , PTA 221 , PTA 250 and PTA 253 Contact Hours: 30 lecture and 90 laboratory hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
