MATH 1410 - ♦Number Concepts for Elementary Education

A course required exclusively of students majoring in elementary education. Topics include sequences, sets, relations and functions; base-ten arithmetic, numeration systems and whole numbers; bases other than ten; operations with the integers; equations and inequalities; theory of numbers; operations with decimals and rational numbers. (Same as RODP MATH 1410)

PREREQUISITES: ACT Math subscore of 19 or equivalent, or completion of MATH 1005 with a grade of C or higher.

General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
