VET 230 - *Veterinary Clinical Pathology This course will introduce the students to the machines and skill sets necessary for routine in-house diagnostics typically performed in private veterinary practice. Areas of emphasis will include methods for: complete blood counts (CBC), clinical serum chemistry analysis, histology slide preparation, fecal sample preparation, urinalysis and others.

PREREQUISITES: Completion of VET 101 with a grade of “C” or higher. Hours: Two lecture, two lab hours per week. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
