GEOL 1040 - ♦Physical Geology An introduction to the physical geology of the earth including composition, structure and evolution. Laboratory and field experiences involve rock and mineral identification, along with map and field interpretation of geologic structures.
PREREQUISITES: Completion of ALL Learning Support requirements or acceptable placement scores. Hours: Three lecture, two field/laboratory hours per week. General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements. Credits: (4)
