BIOL 110D - Scientific Methods and Values
This course is suited for natural or physical science disciplines and is designed to develop critical thinking skills by utilizing the principles of the scientific method. Students will select 3-4 current scientific topics of their choosing. Each topic will be explored, debated, and summarized through an individual position paper. Depending on the number of students enrolled, the course may be delivered on-line or as independent study. The course is primarily designed for transfer students, whose laboratory science courses are less than 4 semester hours each. (Same as PSCI 110D)
PREREQUISITES: ENGL 1010 and CIS 100 or 103.
Hours: Two or three lecture hours per week. Credits: (2-3)
