EETH 2010 - *Industrial Electronic Controls This course is an advanced study of control circuits and electronic devices used in operating machines and processes in industry. This course includes the following topics: obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal care, pediatric emergencies, geriatric emergencies, environmental emergencies, patients with special challenges, EMS operations, trauma and shock. EMSB 1602 - *EMT Trauma and Medical Emergencies EMT Trauma and Medical Emergencies is one of two lecture courses designed to provide the student with the knowledge of an entry-level Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This course includes the following topics: obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal care, pediatric emergencies, geriatric emergencies, environmental emergencies, patients with special challenges, trauma and shock. EMSP 2513 - *Paramedic Field Internship Paramedic Field Internship provides evidence that the student is capable of acting as a team leader in managing the emergency care and treatment of an injured or ill patient at the paramedic level. The student will demonstrate competency in this role. ENVT 1010 - Environmental Capstone Seminar This course will be composed of research, writing, and oral presentation, as a capstone summary for all the proceeding courses in the two certificates. Students will be required to research an emerging topic in their field of employment, produce a written paper on that topic, and conduct an oral presentation and defense of their work.
