Foundations of Environmental Technology Technical Certificate

This technical certificate is a one semester program of study designed to prepare students to enter the workforce with skill sets necessary for entry level employment in the utilities industry (water management, wastewater management, etc.). Students who complete the certificate may have the opportunity for paid internships within the utilities industries. Upon completion of the certificate, students may begin the Environmental Technology Technical Certificate.
To begin the Foundations of Technology Technical Certificate, students must have acceptable placement scores or have completed all Learning Support Competencies. Because the certificate may be completed in a single semester, the student will work with the Environmental Technology advisor within the Math and Science Division to schedule all classes and apply for graduation with the technical certificate in the first semester.
