Social Science and Education - A.S.

The Associate of Science in SOCIAL SCIENCE and EDUCATION is a two-year program for students who are not sure what they want to major in, are looking to advance their career, or want a major that is not offered AND are planning to continue their education to earn a bachelor’s degree at a four year institution.  This degree would be used to incorporate general education courses with electives found in the area of Social/Behavioral Sciences.

Transfer Options
The University Parallel Degree program is designed for transfer to universities offering a Baccalaureate degree.  Contact your advisor for additional information.

All students graduating with a degree from VSCC are required to take the Educational Testing Service Proficiency Profile (ETSP). More information can be found at http://www.volstate.edu/Testing/Services.php.
