Pre-Dental Hygiene - A.S.

The Associate of Science in Pre-Dental Hygiene is a two-year program for students planning to continue their education to earn a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. Admission to these university programs is competitive and application deadlines vary. Graduates of the university Dental Hygiene programs are eligible for the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination and regional/State Board Examinations throughout the country. Tennessee State University requires completion of all coursework prior to application to the Dental Hygiene Program.

Transfer Options:
The University Parallel Degree program is designed for transfer to universities offering a Baccalaureate degree.  Contact your advisor for additional information.
