Volunteer State Community College and Tennessee State University offer a program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. The curriculum is a blend of the Vol State Associate of Science degree program following the Criminal Justice curriculum and four semesters of the TSU program in Criminal Justice.
Associate of Science degree requirements must be completed prior to admission to TSU. Students that completed the requirements for the Associate of Applied Science degree may apply for the TSU program; however, they will be required to complete additional general education requirements during the Maymester and summer sessions. All courses are offered on the Volunteer State Community College campus. Persons interested in the VSCC/TSU Criminal Justice program should contact Kevin M. Cook, Director of Vol State’s Criminal Justice, or Daciena Perry, TSU Off-Campus Programs.
