Typical duties performed by career oriented marketing employees include management of retail departments and store settings, personal selling, management of customer service, purchasing assistance, and merchandise management. Marketing employment is expected to grow as a part of the workforce well into the next century. Solid opportunities exist for growth from entry level to career sustaining and management responsibilities. Representative job titles include retail department manager, assistant and store manager, sales representative, merchandise manager, and purchasing assistant.
All Business students are required to take the business exit exam to meet graduation requirements.
