MATH 1410¨ - Structure of Mathematical Systems I

Sequences, sets, relations and functions; base-ten arithmetic numeration systems and whole numbers; bases other than ten; operations with integers; equations and inequalities; theory of numbers; clock and modular arithmetic. (Same as RODP MATH 1410)

PREREQUISITES: Two years of high school algebra and an acceptable placement score or DSPM 0850 and high school geometry or MATH 0990 (applies to students under 1989 Admission Requirements).
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
