MAM 100S - Mammography


This course is a comprehensive study of all aspects of mammography in preparation for the national boards or added technological experience. History, physics, instrumentation, positioning, various techniques, accreditation process, and clinical rotations are included. This class meets during the Fall Semester on weekends.

PREREQUISITES: Member in good standing with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.)
Hours: Three lecture, one laboratory hour per week.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
