CIS 172* - Java An introduction to the Java programming language. Topics include labels and text fields, methods, applets, GUI components, exception handling, multi-threading, files, and animation/audio. (Same as RODP CST 209)
PREREQUISITES: CIS 113* with grade of “C” or better or permission of instructor. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
