MECH 2441 - *Introduction to Totally Integrated Automation This course is an introduction to Totally Integrated Automation. Topics covered will include the automaton pyramid, analog sensors and actuators, advanced PLC programming, HMI programming, industrial networking, and systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall (Gallatin), Spring (Cookeville) Prerequisites: MECH 1340 and ACT Math subscore of 19 or equivalent or completion of MATH 1005 with a C or higher Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
