STEM 100SL - Science/Technology/Engineering/Math Service-Learning Practicum This course provides opportunities to participate in project-based, hands-on partnerships with community organizations. Students gain experience in leadership and teamwork while meeting community needs. Writing/oral-intensive, the course promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, civic engagement, communication, and cultural awareness. Students engage in systematic reflection and apply interdisciplinary knowledge in real world experiences.
Contact Hours: 15-45 independent study hours per credit hour per semester Repeatability for Maximum Credit: May be repeated for credit, but only 3 hours of SSE 100SL, STEM 100SL, or HUM 100SL may apply toward graduation. Division: Mathematics and Science Department: Science
