COMM 292P - *Communication Practicum: Newspaper
This course provides practical journalism experience while producing the school newspaper, The Settler. Students in this course will learn through experience. The amount of required work varies with credit hours. Students may take a combination of practicum courses (EMPR 2291P , EMPR 2294P , EMPR 2295P and/or COMM 296P ), but only 8 hours may be counted toward graduation. This course is not intended for transfer. [This course was previously COM 292P.]

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
