VET 130 - *Pharmacology and Therapeutics In this course students will learn drug classifications, proper handling, storage and record keeping associated with drug usage. Methods of compounding, formulation and calculation of drug dosages will be discussed. Various drug delivery methods and dietary management of chronically ill patients will also be covered.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Summer Prerequisites: CHEM 1030 or CHEM 1110 and VET 110 both with a grade of C or higher. Corequisites: VET 130 Laboratory Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
