ENGR 101 - *Engineering Graphics with CAD I


This course is designed to develop the fundamental visualization and graphic communication skills used by engineers through manual and computer means. Sketching techniques to develop orthographic and pictorial graphic skills, lettering capability, standard technical drawing methods, computer-aided drafting, dimension techniques, working drawing development skills, drawing interpretation, solid modeling and plotting will be the fundamental foci of the course.

Course may be offered through TN eCampus.

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring
Corequisites: ENGR 101 Laboratory
Contact Hours: 30 lecture hours, 45 lab hours per semester

Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
